Araxi is an award winning Whistler restaurant located on Village Square in the heart of Whistler Village. It is within a short walk of some of the best of Whistler hotels.

An elegant restaurant decorated in soft earthy tones, Araxi offers a view of the Square from the windows of its dining room as well as its beautiful outdoor patio, in season. It is, to many, the epitome of fine dining in Whistler Village. The menu features options from the land and the sea. Meat offerings range from venison and steak to an organic beef burger. Fish and seafood selections include lobster and crab choices from Araxi's live tank. Small plates can be had as appetizers or on their own. The smoked tomato soup is legendary comfort food. An assortment of delicious desserts is available. There is also a fixed price dinner option.

Araxi has a popular bar, including an outdoor one in season, which features specialty cocktails and an extensive wine list. A raw bar offers sushi choices, oysters and chilled seafood.

Araxi is open for dinner every night from 5 P.M. to 11 P.M. and for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 A.M. to
3 P.M. Brunch is served from 10:30 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Although long a staple of fine dining in Whistler Village, Araxi's fame was extended worldwide when it was chosen by Chef Ramsay as the grand prize for the winning chef of season 6 on his Fox network television show, Hell's Kitchen. Clearly appreciating the culinary magic performed in this kitchen, Chef Ramsay rewarded the winner with a position at Araxi during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
