Today Adele Chan did a segment on Whistler for Urban Rush. I really enjoyed her angle on the story. Everyone knows that Whistler is amazing for a ski holiday, but sometimes it's the extra activities that make the vacation truly remarkable. Take the tube park, for example. How fun to be able to step outside your hotel or condo and fly down 1000 feet of pure fun. There is a great conveyor lift that takes you back up, so be prepared for ride after ride, thrill after thrill. There is no age restriction, however children 12 and under need to ride with an adult. Book in advance or just show up on the day.

Another experience that Adele featured was the Scandinave, a nordic spa experience featuring outdoor "baths" overlooking incredible mountain vistas and valleys, and surrounded by trees and pure wilderness. Relax outdoors in the many baths and relax while enjoying the no talking policy.

Whistler is truly world famous for it's skiing/boarding and village experience, but it's the unique others that make it well worth the trip. Thank you Adele and the team from Urban Rush - you did a great job of expressing why Whistler is a must for your next winter holiday.
